EMPIRE SOHO AND EMPIRE TOWER
TENANTS ABLE TO COLLECT BELONGINGS
Following
the
decision to temporarily
halt operations at Empire
Shopping Gallery, all tenants of Empire Soho and Empire Towers are
requested to register at the counters set up at entrance to facilitate
collection of their belongings immediately. According the May Woo,
General Manager of Empire Shopping Gallery, “We are happy to announce
that tenants from Empire Soho and Empire Tower will be able to collect
their belongings starting today.
We
have set up counters at the
entrance of the Mall to facilitate this. Upon registration, a maximum
of two people from each unit will be escorted by the police up to their
units to retrieve any belongings that is urgently needed.”
The counters have already seen a steady stream of tenants registering
from 8.30am today. It will remain open till 6.00pm today and all day
tomorrow.
Normal operations are still suspended for both properties.
Investigations are currently on-going with Bomba Forensics expected to
release the preliminary report within the next 24 hours. The Empire
Shopping Gallery is still closed off until safety clearance is obtained
by Bomba.
“Let me stress that safety is unequivocally our highest priority. We
will do whatever necessary under this circumstance to facilitate our
tenant’s convenience,” said May Woo, General Manager, Empire Shopping
Gallery.
